Terms of Service

These terms govern the private travel planning, experiences, and hosting services provided by Elevate, operated by 株式会社ELEVATE (ELEVATE K.K.), registered in Tokyo, Japan. By booking with us, you agree to the following.

Inquiries & bookings

All inquiries are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only once a deposit has been received to hold your dates. Until then, your dates are not reserved.

Pricing & payment

Each itinerary is quoted individually based on the experience you request, and presented as a single fee for the services Elevate provides, rather than a list of parts. Payment is processed securely through Stripe.

What’s included

Guiding, a tailored itinerary, and the reservations Elevate arranges on your behalf. Guests cover their own meals; where Erika joins an activity with you, guests cover her portion. Hotels and transportation are not booked by Elevate, though we’re glad to advise.

Third-party reservations

Certain venues require their own terms, which are passed through to you at the time of booking so your reservation is clear and protected.

Cancellations

Your deposit of ¥100,000 per guided day confirms your booking and is non-refundable. More than 30 days before your first guided day, your deposit transfers to new dates within 12 months. Between 15 and 30 days, the deposit is retained. Within 14 days, the deposit is retained together with 50% of the remaining balance. Any deposits already paid to partners on your behalf are non-refundable at any stage. Rescheduling can often be arranged, and we recommend travel insurance.

If we cannot proceed

If illness, injury, or circumstances beyond our control prevent Elevate from hosting your day, we will offer alternative dates or, where that is not possible, a full refund of everything paid to Elevate, less any third-party costs already committed on your behalf that cannot be recovered. Our liability is limited to the amounts you have paid to Elevate. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other arrangements booked independently, and we recommend travel insurance.

Liability

Elevate acts as your planner and host. Participation in any activity is at your own discretion and risk. We are not responsible for the acts, errors, or omissions of independent third-party providers beyond our reasonable control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
